Nuvia AirPlasma launch: our first hot air styler
Nuvia AirPlasma, our first hot air styler, is now on sale: seven attachments, plasma and curls made with heated air. I’ll tell you how it came about.
It’s here! Nuvia AirPlasma, our first hot air styler, is on sale from today. It’s a device that dries, curls, smooths and adds volume, and for all of that it needs just one outlet by the mirror.
Where did the idea come from? For a long time, you’ve been writing to us that you were missing a curling iron and a brush in our range. We could have added two more devices, but we decided it was better to make one that replaces four: a hair dryer, a curling iron, a styling brush and a diffuser. We worked on it with the team for many months, and I’m very proud of it.
What Nuvia AirPlasma can do
You fit seven attachments onto one body: the Drying Nozzle (the Concentrator or the Diffuser attaches to it magnetically), two Curling Barrels of 32 and 40 mm, the Oval Brush and the Round Brush. The Curling Barrels curl your hair with a stream of air of up to 90°C, rather than with a heating element in a barrel or plate. The rotating tip changes the direction of the airflow, so with the same barrel you wrap curls away from your face on both the left and the right side of your head.
Inside, there’s a brushless motor running at 110,000 rpm with airflow of up to 24 m/s. You can choose from four temperature modes (30°C, 70°C, 90°C and a hot-cold cycle), three speeds and a cold shot when you hold the temperature button, which sets the curl. Plasma, 400 million positive and negative ions per cubic centimeter, reduces frizz and static. Nuvia remembers your last settings and has a magnetically removable filter and a 2.7 m cord.

Nuvia comes with a 24-month warranty, and you have 30 days to return it without giving a reason.
