About the product
The SkinVibe Astra SteamPlasma hair straightener combines three technologies in one device: plasma, steam and ceramic heating plates. Its plasma technology generates over a million positive and negative ions per cm³, which stabilise the charges on the hair surface and eliminate static. A gentle mist of steam hydrates each strand as you straighten, so your hair keeps its elasticity and healthy shine.
Five temperature settings from 140°C to 220°C let you adapt straightening to every hair type. Astra heats up in 28 seconds and switches off automatically after 30 minutes. You can turn the steam function off with one button and use Astra as a classic straightener with plasma and ceramic plates. The set includes a microfibre pouch, a heat-resistant silicone mat and a bottle for filling the water tank. It weighs just 376 g, and the 2.7 m cable with a 360° swivel gives you freedom of movement while styling.

Key safety warnings
- Do not use the straightener near water or in damp rooms and never immerse it. Water is a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
- After use in a bathroom, unplug it straight away. In bathrooms we recommend a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
- The appliance is not intended for children or for persons with reduced capabilities without supervision. It is not a toy.
- The heating plates are very hot - avoid contact with the skin, eyes, ears, face and neck. Do not touch them during use or right after switching off.
- After use, place the straightener on a heat-resistant surface and let it cool down completely. Do not leave the straightener switched on unattended.
- Use it on dry hair only and do not hold the plates in one place for too long.
- If the straightener has been dropped, is damaged or wet, or the cord is damaged - do not use it and contact customer service.
